Description
These 50ml sticks of Magigoo are one of the best adhesion aids for 3D printing, offering excellent bed adhesion for around 100 medium-sized prints.
Within 3D Printing, first-layer adhesion can be one of the biggest hurdles for beginners to overcome, and unfortunately first-layer adhesion is also incredibly important, and has the potential to make or break prints. Fortunately, there is a good range of Adhesion Aids available, such as the world-famous Magigoo, which is a roll-on glue designed to offer high-strength mechanical grip between the hot filament and the print surface, to ensure optimal first-layer adhesion in all of the standard 3D Filament polymers.
This 50ml Magigoo Pen is the smaller option of the two variations, and is just the standard version that caters to ABS, PLA, PETG, HIPS and TPU, which are typically considered to be Standard 3D Filaments. It is designed to be as easy as possible to use (Very similar to old glue sticks from school), completely odourless and non-toxic, and also is made to leave almost no impression underneath the print like ABS juice is commonly known to do.
*Please Note: Be careful of squeezing the bottle too hard, as this could pop the applicator out of the top and spill the Magigoo all over your printer. Instead, press the nib onto the bed and then squeeze gently until the applicator becomes wet or “gooey”. After that, simply allow the applicator to work its magic, applying a single layer horizontally across the bed, followed by a vertical layer on top of that.

HOW TO EFFECTIVELY APPLY MAGIGOO ORIGINAL ADHESION GLUE TO YOUR PRINT SURFACE:
To enjoy effective results, simply shake the pen before use, squeeze gently until the applicator is wet, apply a thin even layer to the print surface that you will be using, and then wash it off with water after a few prints to avoid any residue build-up. Just keep in mind though that it is ideal to apply Magigoo to cold surfaces, so consider using it before you begin heating up the bed to ensure optimal adhesion. And just in case you’re unsure of anything, we’ve also included the instructions manual in our downloads section above, so be sure to check this out if you’re running into any problems with your Magigoo.
Finally, if you’re still a little unsure as to the application, use and expectations of Magigoo, this cheesy but insightful video does an excellent job at explaining the entire process, as well as some background into the adhesive works:
