Description

What do the ‘+’ stand for in PLA+?

PLA+ filament are superior to the normal PLA formula.

PLA+ are easy to print with and has less water absorption.

Superior characteristics you can expect from PLA+:

  1. Stronger prints
  2. Better bridging
  3. Less Brittle
  4. A bit higher deformation temperature
  5. Smoother finish to your prints.

PLA+ is typically used for applications that require more strength and that is less brittle. This can be brackets that have to carry weights. Where the bracket can bend a bit and not just snap like normal pla.

EMRIN adds another great innovative solution to reduce wasted spools. The spool less system. You can print your own spool sides and re-use them.

No more empty spools stacking up in a corner hoping to find some use for them one day. No more extra plastic waste to the waste system which helps out planet.

“Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” is the mantra that inspired the Emrin Spooless system. Designed to eliminate waste that plastic reels cause, the refill package is supplied on a recyclable cardboard core which is placed onto re-usable sides that can be 3D printed or purchased once off.

PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a biodegradable, sustainable and food safe polymer made from organic sources. Synthesized from organic sugars, PLA has become the most common material for 3D filaments due to its eco-friendliness and ease of use.
