CRON – PLA – Bi-Colour (Dual) Green & Red – 1kg – 1.75mm
Product details
Silk filament for open source 3D Printers. High quality, constant diameter for accurate repeatable prints. The filament comes on a plastic spool and is sealed in a plastic bag with dececant and packaged in a box (sometimes we remove the filament from the box to fit everything into your parcel). Each spool is marked with the type of filament, the recommended printing temperature and the manufacturing batch number. We have a lot of confidence in the filament we supply, because we use it ourselves.
Bi-Colour filament is filament of which the colour of the left and right side of the filament is different, in the case green and red. The effect this creates is that when you look at the print, the left side of the print is one colour and the other side is a different colour.
Silk filament is PLA based material, but with a silky look to it. This displays very well in big components with a lot of curves, like a flower vase. This material is more flexible than PLA, but prints very similar to PLA.

| TOUGH YET FLEXIBLE
FIL X SBS
Did you know that you are in daily contact with SBS products such as the soles of your shoes or the tyres of your car? But how can SBS be used in FDM 3D printing?
SBS (Styrene-butadiene-styrene) has the unique properties of being both tough and flexible at the same time, thanks to its Polystyrene origin lending it a hard, tough consistency and the Polybutadiene giving it a bit more bounce with its rubbery properties. This powerhouse combination offers, apart from good layer adhesion, no odour during printing and does not absorb moisture. Furthermore, it has been FDA and EU directive approved for food contact.
Fil X SBS filament is very easy to print with on a glass bed with some hairspray for better bed adhesion and best of all can be smoothed with d-limonene (also available from Fil X!) leaving you with a stunning finished product. | PETG is short for polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified, and is a transparent type of Copolyester. PETG is the perfect filament to combine strength and ductility, which is why it's used in so many mechanical parts and robotics. It has great chemical resistance with good water, acidic and alkalic resistance. PETG in its raw form is also FDA and EU commission regulation approved as Food Contact Safe. | TOUGH YET FLEXIBLE FIL X SBS Did you know that you are in daily contact with SBS products such as the soles of your shoes or the tyres of your car? It is one of the most popular bioplastics, used for many applications ranging from plastic cups to medical implants.
